Euro area private sector growth slowed down in April
The growth rate of the euro area’s private sector slowed down in April, according to purchasing manager indexes.
According to the final data of the IHS Markit, a London-based financial and economic data provider, published on Monday, the composite purchasing manager index (PMI) from manufacturing and service industry data dropped to 51.5 points in April from the 51.6 points of the previous month. Analysts expected a weaker result and forecasted 51.3 points. (MTI)
