Hungarian economy slowed
In the first quarter gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year – was based on an initial estimate by the Central Statistics Office (KSH).
According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted data, the volume of the gross domestic product decreased by 0.8 percent in the first quarter compared to the previous quarter.
In terms of annual data, the market services raised the growth rate somewhat, while the construction industry significantly reduced the growth rate. (MTI)
