Retail sales growth slowed in the United States in October
In the United States, retail sales grew less than expected in October, according to a report by the Census Bureau, a statistical institute in the Washington Department of Commerce.
With seasonal and calendar adjusted, retail sales in the U.S. rose 0.3 percent month-on-month in October to 553.3 billion USD, after growing 1.6 percent in September. The market expected 0.5 percent monthly growth for October. The September figure was moderated from a 1.9 percent increase to a 1.6 percent increase by the Census Bureau. (MTI)
