Danone's sales growth slowed down
The French Danone reached a bit more than five billion euros (nearly 1,600 billion HUF) sales revenue in the first three months of this 2014. This is a slight slowdown, compared to the last quarter of 2013.
The turnover decreased by 5.2 percent, mainly due to the strong euro. By excluding the exchange rate effects, the French company reached a 2.2 percent sales growth, but it is also a slowdown, compared to the 2.9 percent expansion in the fourth quarter of 2013. The analysts expected a 2.1 percent increase. (hirado.hu, MTI)
