Growth is slowing in Hungarian online retail
Growth is slowing down in the Hungarian online retail market, while the domestic online market revenue has risen by almost 18 percent in 2017, compared to the previous year, so it has expanded three times as much as retail sales – Madar Norbert, GKI Digital’s Business Manager said at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.
Based on the joint research of the GKI Digital and Termékereső.hu, last year, the online market turnover was close to 365 billion forints and despite the slowdown in growth, 83 percent of the online retailers operating in the Hungarian market closed a more successful year in 2017 than a year before.
