The price increases in Europe slow down
The annual comparative consumer prices in the euro area and in the European Union rose at a slowing pace in June.
According to the data released on Monday by the European Union’s Statistical Office (Eurostat), consumer prices in the 19 euro-zone countries, in line with analyst expectations, rose by 1.3 percent in June. In May, annual price increases were 1.4 percent, while a year ago consumer price increases of 0.1 percent were measured. (MTI)
