”Look into the future!” – innovation award for Generation Z from Bosch and Richter
The world is already facing many challenges, but the future will present us with even more fateful choices. The Bosch Group in Hungary and Richter Gedeon Plc. believe that the fresh perspective and innovative drive of young people can contribute to technology and innovation providing successful answers to tomorrow’s questions.
They believe in the future, they trust in innovation
According to a recent survey conducted by Bosch and Richter, members of Generation Z expect the greatest progress in practical innovations in medicine and transportation. The majority of today’s young people are confident that in the future there will be therapies for diseases that science previously had no answer to, and they also expect the emergence of new treatments. Many of them believe that in the future we will have a better transportation infrastructure and driverless vehicles will not be a rarity, the research revealed.
“Look into the future!” – innovation competition for Generation Z
Focusing on creative and innovative young people, the two major Hungarian companies are jointly announcing the Bosch×Richter Industrial Innovation Award for the second time, this year under the title “See the Future!”. The aim of the competition is to encourage students in Hungarian higher education to recognize the future challenges of transportation and healthcare and to find fresh, innovative solutions.
How can pandemics be predicted? Can serious diseases be prevented? What can telemedicine help with? What will make cities more livable? What can be the fuel of the future? How can self-driving and transportation be made safe? These are just some of the questions that could have a decisive impact on transportation and healthcare in the next 5-10 years. Students applying for the Bosch×Richter Industrial Innovation Award can submit their application in writing, in which they must develop a practical solution in addition to raising a problem that will determine the mobility and healthcare of the future. Further details of the competition can be found on www.boschxrichter.hu.
Students studying in higher education can apply for the competition until midnight on May 15, 2025, in individual and team categories in either the healthcare or mobility fields. The winning individual applicants will receive a net prize of 1 million forints, and teams of up to three people will receive a net prize of 500 thousand forints per member. The winners will be able to present their entries at the Bosch×Richter Innovators Day in September 2025.
