Garfield returns to SPAR and INTERSPAR stores with a special sticker album
The most famous cat on Earth, Garfield, has returned to SPAR and INTERSPAR stores with a new sticker album featuring the world’s most unique animals, Animal Records 2. The entertaining, educational publication, which also draws attention to the importance of environmental protection and nature conservation, will be a great experience for the whole family.
The iconic comic character Garfield, known for his sarcastic humor and unusual laziness, was created by Jim Davis in 1978. The humor of the stories stems from the small annoyances of everyday life and Garfield’s cynical attitude, which is why millions of people around the world love him.
“With the Garfield collector’s albums, SPAR Hungary can boast a real success series. Since 2011, 8 Garfield sticker albums have been published. We are proud that more than 2 million copies of the Junglemania, Safarimania, Oceanmania, Hungary, Mountainmania, Islandmania, Animal Records and Mysterymania albums have been sold. In 2025, the laziest cat in the world returned to SPAR with a new sticker collection album featuring animal records. Our entertaining, informative, and photo-richly illustrated 70-page publication contains information, interesting facts and playful tasks related to animal records, and as with previous sticker albums, our goal with Animal Records 2 is to spread knowledge. The information content of the album provides everyone with the opportunity to engage in community with values such as environmental protection and love of nature”
– explained Márk Maczelka, SPAR Hungary’s communications manager.
