A Hungarian company develops special poultry feed

The Dr. Bata Zrt. is working on the development of antibiotic-free poultry feed
Poultry meat accounts for almost 37 percent of meat production for human consumption, and the sector is projected to grow the most in the next 10 years. Inadequate animal hygiene conditions in large-scale poultry farming, the inadequate, profit-oriented design of feed formulations shifts the composition of the normal microbiome of poultry towards the pathobiome. This affects production parameters, affects meat quality, and harms producers and consumers. (agrarszektor.hu)
