László Hovánszky, managing director of METSPA outlined the development of retail trade seen over the past 15 years. He thinks that the response by domestic producers and manufacturers to the changing environment has not been adequate. He believes that the key to survival for all players in the food market is focusing on quality, diversity and complex service.
