Foreign trade: imports have increased
In October, exports in euro increased by 11.8 percent, imports increased by 17.0 percent, compared to the same period of last year, and after the 5.6 and 6.7 percent of September. The foreign trade surplus became 522 million euros, 275 million euros lower, compared with October last year, according to the first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Friday.
In the first ten months, exports were 9.2, imports were 12.3 percent higher than in the same period of last year, while the export surplus was 1.387 billion euros lower, 7.051 billion euros. October’s exports amounted to 8.887 billion euros, imports amounted to 8.365 billion euros.
