Without foreign workers British food would be more expensive
The UK’s largest food companies, according to higher prices and less choice than at present would gain food to British consumers if the sector could not be free of foreign EU workers after the termination of the British EU membership.
The Guardian was left British newspaper online edition of the mailing box Thirty-food, retail, agro-industrial and beverage manufacturers and trade associations leaders have published an open letter calling on the British government to: provide clear safeguards for workers in the food sector and supplier networks abroad EU workers to remain in Britain after the termination of the British EU membership.
