The University of Kaposvár investigates the effects of a toxin polluting corn
The research of the University of Kaposvár investigates the endangering effect of the most common contaminant of corn (fumonisin mycotoxins) on the population.
The institution is in collaboration with the Kaposi Mór Hospital, and involves internationally recognized experts, researchers, doctoral candidates, university students in the project. The food security-enhancing project lasts until the end of 2020. The institution will spend an approximately 618 million HUF EU funding on the project – the university told MTI. (MTI)
