KSH: double-digit growth continued in earnings
In February, gross average earnings increased by 11.9 percent compared to a year before and reached 306 500 forints. In the first two months of the year, gross and net average earnings increased by 12.9 percent over the same period of the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
In addition to the 2.0 percent increase in consumer prices, compared to the same period of the previous year, real wages rose by 10.7 percent in the first two months of the year. In February, the rate of wage growth slowed down by 13.8 percent in January, while the growth of real wages decreased below 10 percent to 9.8 percent. (MTI)
