KSH: export growth continues further
Last November, export value in euros increased by 5.8, while the value of imports increased by 5.1 percent, compared to the same month of the previous year. The trade surplus increased by 100 million euros to 878 million euros – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published its the second estimate on Thursday.
The balance is 30 million euros lower than reported in the first estimate released on 9 January, when a lower import growth of 4.6 percent was reported by the agency.
The machinery and transport equipment exports increased by 5.7 percent in November, after the previous month’s decline. The growth rate of exports of processed products jumped 7.1 percent from the previous month’s 0.4 percent. Food exports were also 5.7 percent higher than in November 2015. (MTI)
