KSH: earnings continued to grow

Real earnings expand despite high inflation
With inflation at 7.4 percent in December, real earnings were 2.1 percent higher than a year earlier.
Taking into account the discounts, net average earnings reached 337,200 HUF, an increase of 9.4 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
The regular average gross earnings calculated without bonuses, bonuses and one-month special benefits can be estimated at 419,000 HUF, which is also 9.7 percent higher than a year earlier. Year-end premiums boosted earnings by 17.6 percent. (MTI)
