KSH: retail sales continued to grow
Retail sales in September increased by 4.4 percent, compared to the previous year. Calendar effect adjusted, the growth was 5.4 percent higher, compared to the previous year – according to the second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), published on Friday.
In mixed food and food retail stores, calendar effect adjusted sales grew by 3.0 percent, which was 0.1 percentage points slower than the first estimate published on 7 November. The sales volume of mixed food businesses increased by 3.8, and the food, beverage and tobacco trade grew by 1.3 percent. (MTI)
