KSH: employment increased further
The number of employees increased further in the first quarter and 145 thousand more peple are working than a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The employment rate increased to 65.1 percent among the 15-64 year olds, from the 64.8 percent that was registered in the final quarter of the previous year. A year before it was 62.4 percent. The employment rate for men increased to 71.5 percent, the employment rate for women increased to 58.8 percent. (MTI)
