KSH: employment continued to grow in the second quarter
The average number of employees in the April-June period was 4 million 511,000, u 36,000 more than a year before.
The average number of employees also exceeded 4.5 million in the previous three-month period in March-May – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Monday.
According to the data, the employment rate of 15-64 year-olds increased by 0.7 percentage points to 70.0 percent in the second quarter. (MTI)
