KSH: earnings rose further
In February, gross and net average earnings were 10.7 percent higher than a year before, following a 10 percent rise in January, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Thursday.
Calculating with the 2.9 percent inflation in February, real wages increased by 7.6 percent after 7.5 percent in January.
Growth was primarily driven by the 15 percent increase of the minimum wage and the 25 percent increased of the guaranteed minimum wage, as well as the wage arrangement in the health and cultural sector. (MTI)
