KSH: earnings growth continued to accelerate
In July, gross average earnings were 12.8 percent higher than in the previous year, with job earnings rising by 12.1 percent in the first seven months – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Thursday.
The rise in earnings continued to accelerate following the 10.9 percent rise in May and 11.2 percent increase of June.
Real earnings increased by 9.1 percent in July, in January-July by 9.4 percent, compared to the same period of last year, calculated with a 3.4 percent July and 2.5 percent first two month inflation.
