KSH: retail sales strengthened further
In September, the volume of retail sales increased by 5.1 percent, compared to the same period of last year, both according to calendar adjusted and raw data – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported its first estimate on Monday.
The sales volume increased by 3.9 percent in the food retail outlets, by 5.4 percent in non-food retail and by 7.7 percent in fuel retail.
In the first nine months of the year, the volume of traffic – according to calendar adjusted data – was 4.9 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year. The unadjusted figure represents a 5.0 percent increase. (MTI)
