KSH: the number of employees continued to increase

Between November 2018 and January 2019, the average number of employees was 4 million 481 thousand, 45 thousand more than a year before. The employment rate of 15-64 year-olds increased by 0.9 percentage points to 69.5 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.

During the period under review, the number of people working on the primary labor market increased by 80 thousand, the number those who are working on foreign sites grew by 12 thousand, while the number of those who were public employees decreased by 47 thousand. (MTI)
