KSH: agricultural producer prices continued to decline in March
The price of plant products was 9.1 percent lower, while the price of live animals and animal products was 6.6 percent cheaper in March, so the agricultural producer prices were 8.2 percent lower than a year earlier – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
In March, the producer price of cereals was 12.2 percent, the price of potatoes was 33.1 percent lower and the fruits were 17.5 percent cheaper, compared to a year before, however, the price of vegetables rose by 7.0 percent. In the first quarter agricultural products were 7.9 percent cheaper on average. (MTI)
