KSH: consumer prices increased by 3.4 percent last year
Consumer prices increased by 3.4 percent year-on-year and were 4.0 percent higher in December than a year before – the Central Statistical Office announced on Tuesday.
Prices increased by 0.3 percent in December, compared to the previous month.
Core inflation was 3.9 percent in December last year, 0.1 percentage point lower than in November.
The KSH has not measured inflation of 4 percent since 2012, although it was close to 3.9 percent in April and May last year. (MTI)
