KSH: Consumer prices increased by 2.4 percent last year
Consumer prices rose by 2.4 percent on average in 2017, compared with the previous year and in December consumer prices were 2.1 percent higher than in the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
Compared with the previous month, prices increased by 0.1 percent in December, after the 0.4 percent increase of November.
Analysts expected an annual average inflation rate of 2.3-2.4 percent for 2017, and 2.2 percent inflation for December after the 2.5 percent of November. (MTI)
