KSH: foreign trade surplus was 830 million euros in September
In September, the foreign trade surplus was 830 million euros (249 billion HUF). The volume of foreign trade export was 13 percent higher, than in the same period of 2012. The volume of foreign trade import was 12 percent higher, than in the same period of 2012 – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Tuesday.
The preliminary datas reported about a slightly higher 847 million euros surplus for September.
The monthly trade surplus, calculated in HUF was similar high the last time more than two and a half years ago, in February 2011, when it was 253.1 billion HUF.
In September 2013 the value of export was 7.3 billion euros (2,199 million HUF), while the the value of import was 6.5 billion euros (1,950 billion HUF), according to the datas of the Central Statistical Office (KSH). (MTI)
