KSH: industrial production grew by 5.5 percent in September
In September, industrial production was 5.5 percent higher than in the previous year. The automotive industry and the related supplier industries were the main driving force behind the growth of production – the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Friday. The datas are corresponding to the numbers published earlier.
The working day adjusted index increased by 3.1 percent, because in September 2013, there was one more working day than in 2012.
The production in the first nine months of this year reached the level of a year ago.
Compared to the previous month, the seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial production index increased by 1.8 percent in September.
The industrial exports in the first nine months of the year grew by 3.4 percent in September, and increased by 11.8 percent compared to the same period of 2012. (MTI)
