KSH: consumer prices increased by 2.9 percent in October
Consumer prices were on average 2.9 percent higher in October than one year before, which is a 0.6 percent increase, compared to September – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
Core inflation rose from the 3.9 percent of September to 4.0 percent. Core inflation was such high in May, when the consumer price index was at its peak of 3.9 percent this year.
Compared to October last year, food prices rose from the 5.1 percent of September to 5.4 percent. (MTI)
