KSH: agricultural producer prices increased
The decline in agricultural producer prices stopped in March. Prices increased by 1.4 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, due to a 3.6 percent decline in the prices of plant products and the 11.1 percent increase in the prices of live animals and animal products – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
The producer price of crop and horticultural products is decreasing since last August and the price of live animals and animal products is increasing since October in a year-on-year comparison. Prices of cereals decreased by 0.6 percent. The price of fruits decreased by 6.5, the price of vegetables by 12, and the price of potatoes by 3.2 percent. (MTI)
