In contrast to the decline in the first three quarters of last year, the volume of investments increased by 2.5 percent in the fourth quarter compared to a year earlier.

Seasonally adjusted investment increased 4.8 percent from the previous quarter. For 2020 as a whole, developments fell 3.8 percent from a record high a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday.

The resumption of investment was mainly caused by the growing activity of the budget and households, while the development of enterprises continued to decline, the KSH added. (MTI)
