KSH: the number of arrivals and exits increased

The number of arrivals and exits increased in the second quarter. Foreigners spent less time in Hungary, but their average daily spending was higher than a year before. In the case of Hungarian tourists, the average length of trips was shortened, while the one-day spending rose.

Passenger traffic surplus reached 254 billion HUF (820 million euros) in the second quarter, according to figures from the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

Foreigners traveled to Hungary 13.3 million times in the second quarter. The number of entries increased by 6.7 percent, compared to the previous year. (MTI)
