KSH: increased exports and decreased imports
Euro-denominated value of exports increased by 2.3 percent, while imports fell by 0.9 percent in May compared with a year before. The trade surplus was 507 million euros, 225 million euros higher than in May 2014 – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Monday its second estimate.
The figures differ very little from the first's estimate released on 9 July, according to which, the euro-denominated value of exports increased by 2.5 percent and imports decreased by 0.7 percent, compared to the previous year, and the trade surplus was 505 million euros. (MTI)
