KSH: the number of employees increased in the third quarter

In the third quarter of this year, the average number of employees was 4 million 487 thousand, 36 thousand more than a year before. The employment rate of 15-64 year-olds rose by 0.8 percentage points to 69.5 percent, and was 0.2 percentage points higher than in the previous quarter, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The number of people on the primary labor market grew by 97,000, but the number of those who reported themselves as public employees decreased by 54,000, while the number of people working at foreign sites decreased by 6,000. (MTI)
