KSH: the number of employees has increased

In February-April this year, the average number of employees was 4 million 492 thousand, 47 thousand more than a year before. The employment rate of 15-64 year-olds increased with 1.0 percentage point to 69.8 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.

The number of people working on the primary labor market increased by 69 thousand, the number o people working on foreign sites grew by 18 thousand, while the number of those who were public employees decreased by 40 thousand to 118 thousand. (MTI)
