KSH: foreign trade balance turned negative
In April, exports fell by 37.2 percent in euro terms and by 35.1 percent at constant prices, while imports fell by 29.1 percent and 23.5 percent, respectively, from a year earlier.
The foreign trade balance closed with a deficit of 561 million euros, deteriorating by 790 million euros compared to April last year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) released the data of its second estimate on Thursday. The trade deficit in April is 50 million euros lower than in the first estimate. (MTI)
