KSH: the turnover of retail stores increased in March
According to the raw data, the volume of retail store turnover in March was 4.4 percent, calendar-adjusted was 3.5 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year and after the 11.2 percent in February. The emerging pandemic emergency and the gradually introduced legal restrictions affecting retail also affected the turnover of all business types – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Wednesday.
Turnover in the mixed food and food-type retail trade continued to pick up, up 12.7 percent year-on-year after 10.7 percent in February. The sales volume of food-type mixed stores, which account for 77 percent of food retail, increased by 14.8 percent after the 11.1 percent of the previous month. (MTI)
