KSH: earnings increased by almost 9 percent
In March, the average gross earnings of full-time employees were 435,200 HUF, and the average net earnings excluding benefits were 289,400 HUF for enterprises with at least 5 employees. At budgetary institutions and non-profit organizations, it was both 8.7 percent higher than a year before, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Friday.
With inflation at 3.7 percent in March, real earnings were 4.8 percent higher than in March last year.
Compared to 9.8 percent in February, the pace of wage growth slowed by 1.1 percentage points as inflation also accelerated. Real wage growth slowed by 1.7 percentage points from 6.5 percent. (MTI)
