KSH: retail sales in March rose by 4.2 percent
The annual growth rate of retail sales was slowing slightly in March. According to the calendar effect adjusted data, the retail trade volume was 4.2 percent higher than a year before.
According to the raw data, the dynamics of turnover growth slowed from February’s 6.7 percent to 5.5 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported its initial estimate.
The sales of non-food products and fuel sales growth have reached a higher than average increase with 7.6 and 5.0 percent. The slowdown was caused by a slowdown in food purchases. (MTI)
