KSH: Hungary's economic performance is in the midfield in the EU
The performance growth of the Hungarian economy continued in 2015. The gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 2.9 percent in 2015, compared to a year before. With this economic output change, Hungary belongs to the midfield in the EU rankings – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported in its Hungary 2015 publication that was released on Friday.
The global economic output – grew by 3.1 percent in 2015, compared to the previous year, after the 3.4 percent increase of 2014, which was mainly due to the economic performance of the Asian countries. China’s economic performance increased by 6.9, the economic performance of the United States by 2.4, and Japan expanded by 0.5 percent. (MTI)
