KSH: The number of employees increased in June
In June, the average monthly number of employees increased by 85,000, compared to the previous month, and by 98,000 compared to June last year, reaching 4,692,000, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Wednesday.
The employment rate of those aged 15-64 was 74.1 percent, which is 1.5 percentage points higher than in May and 2.5 percentage points higher than in June, comapred to the previous year.
In the three-month period of April-June, the average number of employees increased by 63 thousand compared to the same period of last year and was 4 million 619 thousand. (MTI
