KSH: growth in earnings accelerated
In June, the average earnings of full-time employees were 11.2 percent higher than one-year-ago, after the 10.9 percent increase occured in May – the Central Statistical Office reported on Wednesday.
Average earnings increased by 11.9 percent in the first half of the year.
The annual growth in real wages was 7.9 percent in June and 9.4 percent in the first half of the year. It was 3.1 percent, calculated with a 2.3 percent inflation.
In June, the average gross earnings were 329,600 forints, calculated without public employees, 341 700 forints. In the first half of the year, gross average earnings were 324,400 forints and 336,900 forints. (MTI)
