KSH: prices increased by 5.3 percent on an annual basis In June
In June, consumer prices were on average 5.3 percent higher than a year before, and the prices of alcoholic beverages, tobacco and fuel have risen significantly in the past year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
Consumer prices rose an average of 0.6 percent in one month.
In January-June, consumer prices rose by an average of 4.2 percent for all households and by 3.8 percent for retired households, compared to the same period of the previous year. (MTI)
