KSH: retail sales in July rose by 2.3 percent
The volume of retail sales increased by 2.3 percent in July both according to the calendary adjusted and the raw datas – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The turnover growth rate, due to the slowdown in food consumption was significantly lower than the 4.1 percent of June. The 6.2 percent annual growth in the volume of food sales in June fell to 1.6 percent, while the sales of non-food products, accelerated from 1.1 percent to 2.7 percent. (MTI)
