KSH: average earnings increased by 9.2 percent in January
National average gross earnings in January were 375 thousand HUF, up 9.2 percent year-on-year, while excluding the public sector they were HUF 385 thousand 300 HUF, up 8.8 percent. For the first time since April last year, the rate of increase in earnings has been one-digit.
Average net earnings, excluding discounts, reached 249,500 HUF, including discounts, up by 9.1 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
The average earnings of enterprises employing at least 5 people, excluding the public sector, rose by 8.6 percent to 391 thousand HUF and 9.7 percent HUF in the public sector by 9.7 percent. (MTI)
