KSH: earnings achieved double-digit growth again
In April, the average gross earnings of full-time employees were 440,600 HUF, and the net average earnings excluding benefits were 293,000 HUF, both 10.1 percent higher than a year before, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Wednesday.
For the first time this year, the rise in average earnings was again in double digits. Statistics measured a 9.4 percent increase in the first quarter.
With inflation at 5.1 percent in April, real wages were 4.8 percent higher than in April last year, as in March, when inflation was 3.7 percent and wages rose 8.7 percent. (MTI)
