KSH: exports in January reached a double-digit growth again
In January, the value of exports in euros was 10.1 percent higher, while the value of imports was 9.3 percent higher than in the year before, while the foreign trade surplus grew by 113 million euros to 676 million euros – according to the first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
After two months of interruption, the value of exports increased again at a rate of more than 10 percent, which only occured three times last year.
The growth rate of exports was higher than imports for the second time after a break of 13 months. (MTI)
