KSH: the number of employees is over 4.4 million again
In the second quarter, the average number of employees was 4 million 420,000, 77,000 more than a year before, while the employment rate of the 15-64 year-olds grew by 1.6 percentage points to 68.1 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
In the three months from the end of November 2016 to the end of January 2017, the average number of employees was 4,4 million.
The number of people employed in the domestic primary job market increased by 107 thousand, compared to the second quarter of last year, while the number of employees working at foreign sites and the number of public employees decreased by 3.2 and 11.2 percent respectively. (MTI)
