KSH: export growth accelerated in May
In May, the value of exports in euros increased by 6.3 percent, while the value of imports in euros increased by 2.4 percent, compared to a year before.
The export surplus became 755 million euros , 284 million euros more than in last May – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced its first estimate on Friday.
In the first five months of the year, exports were 3.2, while imports were 1.4 percent higher than in the same period of last year. The export surplus increased by 720 million euros to 4.204 billion euros. (MTI)
