KSH: the rise of earnings accelerated in August
In August, the gross and net wages rose by 4.4 percent in in the private sector after the 3.4 percent rise of the previous month and increased yb 2.3 percent in the at financial institutions witout including the earnings of public workers.
In terms of the whole economy earnings rose by 3.9 percent, compared to a year earlier, while including the public workers, the wage increase was 2.2 percent – teh Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday.
In the private sector without rewards, bonuses and other one-time special allowances the annual growth in earnings in August was 3.8 per cent. (MTI)
